Social Media & Digital Content Creator

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will be responsible for creating, planning and executing engaging & brand-aligned content across the portfolios of Be Creative Media client platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & TikTok.

As a key member of the marketing team, the Social Media & Digital Content Creator will work closely with Be Creative Media team members & stakeholders to generate ideas and produce creative & fresh content that can be shared across the various digital platforms.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Social media planning, scheduling + posting
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content across social media, website, online listings etc.
  • Creating content based on the overarching marketing activation & campaign calendar and aligned to the brand & style guidelines
  • Alignment across all social media platforms
  • Assist with optimising content according to SEO
  • Staying up to date with social media trends and innovation within the digital landscape
  • Create and schedule video content across Instagram Stories, IGTV, Reels, TikTok to share behind-the-scenes content and live content where possible
  • Assist with EDM creation + database management
  • Research and brainstorm creative content ideas
  • Produce high-quality content from concept to delivery
  • Quickly respond to trends by developing and adapting content to suit
  • Scheduling of social post and caption copywriting
  • Contribute to the company blog pages
  • Tracking analytics + metrics of social media, Google + website results
  • Utilise analytics + metrics to provide monthly reports and recommendations
  • Responding to customer comments, enquiries + reviews across social channels building strong engagement
  • Assist with updating Google + other business listings
  • Manage creative direction and briefing requirements for photography and video shoots across the group, including detailed briefs, timelines + clear communication across the relevant teams for shoot days
  • Set up and track Google, Facebook + Instagram Ads as needed
  • Manage social media spend + digital aspects of campaign costs
  • Update + maintain photography albums

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • A passion for social media, content creation and brand
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar qualification in a related field (Marketing or Communications)
  • Min 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Experience with design programs for content creation (Canva highly regarded)
  • Experience working with social scheduling platforms
  • Experience using WordPress, Mail Chimp, Trello and Miro highly desirable
  • Solid knowledge of digital analytics tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A creative and innovative approach to marketing
  • Strong attention to detail, organising skills, scheduling & work-flow planning
  • Agility and flexibility in a dynamic and changing environment
